Aerosoft CRJ Series

Did they cut the waitlist because they’re an official MS partner?

I’m on PC. I feel bad for Xbox users. You are supposed to be the backbone of the game and look how they treat you.

Absolute fail. Still no CRJ for MSFS2024 but tons of useless cheap stuff released.

Hi guys, i just noticed that Aerosoft released their V 2 for the CRJ for MSFS 2024. I just realized that i bought the aircraft in MSFS 2020. However, i dont see the CRJ available in the MSFS 2024 marketplace. Is here the only solution to wait until this is officially release in the marketplace?

many thanks!

V2 has been released as a free update and is compatible with FS2024. I read elsewhere that it has supposedly been submitted to the marketplace for approval, so you will have to wait for that to happen before you see it in FS2024. Maybe next week, who knows.

I downloaded it for free from the Aereosoft app…I had bought it a few years ago as MSFS2020 and it is compatible with MSFS2024

Keep in mind when it finally does make it to the MP it will read as a 2020 aircraft. As has been explained, it has not been compiled against 2024 / optimized for it (you’ll notice in walk around no click spots, etc…).

It still works, but another update is apparently coming at some point to make it a 2024 aircraft (officially).

If that’s the case, why can’t I just copy the current 2020 version over to 2024 and run it there? And trust me, I tried. (I believe you, it just doesn’t make sense.)

Things can be fixed to make it compatible without it being optimized/built natively.

Well at this point it’s really just how long the markeptace takes. Everything is running really good right now in 2020 on series X. It’s like finally at a place I can be happy with. 2024 is a dumpster fire though…

Finally showing up for me in 2024 Marketplace on PC SU2 but shows as unavailble. What fresh hell is this?

Same here. Loaded FS2024 this morning and got a notification that I needed to check my library. Got all excited when I saw the two CRJ entries but they are listed as unavailable. Hopefully, a sign it is coming soon.

Been struggling with this aircraft ever since reinstalling it. Having a hard time acquiring the localizer. Tried again yesterday, this time a went with a very shallow angle to the LOC, probably around 20 degrees. It worked great.

On the subject of approaches, has anyone flown RNAV ones with the V2?

Yes, RNAV approaches work, but you must be careful to not select any RNAV approach marked “RNP” (in the US) as the real CRJ cannot fly those, The sim version might try to follow curved RF legs, but is unlikely to do them properly. There are some RNP approaches in Europe that the real CRJ can do, but not RNP-AR in the US.

For a standard RNAV (GPS) approach, you will leave lateral navigation in NAV. Vertical descent on the depicted glide path (on the chart) is done using vertical speed. Set your altitude selector to the published MDA altitude + 50 feet as you begin descent. Do not use APPR mode, as that is only for ILS.

Most likely a “placeholder”, and if so, it would mean it’s on “final approach” into the Marketplace.

I hope for those who bought on Marketplace that I’m right.

This is one major reason that I try to stay away from purchasing there.

I’m thinking the same. No idea why I bought this from the MP. It’s a place to avoid purchasing from imho.

I’m trying really hard to love this plane but the last few days have been frustration after frustration. The first few flights went just fine. I’ve watched a bunch of tutorials and was beginning to really like this aircraft, but just over the last day or two I’ve been getting bug after bug. Lights being on when I enter the plane (even when the knobs are completely off - I have to turn them on then off again), taking multiple button clicks on the EFB to transfer data to the flight computer, autopilot disengaging (it worked fine before) and now, the engines just shutting off mid-flight. I tried to see if I was doing something wrong, but everything seems to be OK on my end. Controls calibrated properly, no phantom inputs. Just complete system failure in the plane.

Has anyone else experienced this or any thoughts what might be going wrong? The only other change I’ve made to the sim recently was adding the Ini A350 two days ago, which is right when the CRJ started going haywire. I’ve since removed the A350, but I’m still having CRJ issues. I even rolled back my Nvidia driver to see if that was the problem (which shouldn’t have been since the CRJ worked on the newest driver.

I’m at my wits end about ready to uninstall it…

(Running CRJ V2 in 2024, 14700F, RTX 4060 8 GB VRAM - wishful thinking for the A350 I know, but it actually works quite well with the “no cabin” version, 64 RAM, 2 TB SSD, mostly high settings, with a couple medium and a couple ultra)

Something has corrupted your CRJ installation, or something external to it is interfering. I would uninstall it completely and reinstall it for starters.

Are you running the 2024 SU2 beta? If so, something in the latest beta update could be causing issues.

No 2024 Beta. I’ll try reinstalling the CRJ and see if that helps.

Still no CRJ in today’s updates. This is pathetic.
