I’ll need to search for the post, but from what I read the yoke shouldn’t move at all, and the AP shouldn’t be fighting your movements. At least to the point where you putting in so much input that the AP disconnects.

With the AP enabled, the VC yoke is not animated to match your inputs, and instead animates what the AP is having to do to fight your inputs, and if you keep increasing input eventually the AP will disconnect, and then the animation will suddenly snap to match your physical controls…at least within the existing constraints where the animation accelerates towards maximum input.
