That instrument glass story was hilarious on Aerosoft forums 
What was it? I always assumed the non circular things and lack of glass and so on were “optimisations” to make it easy on Xbox which they never released on.
It was just an early release and yeah, it looked optimized for Xbox. Then it seems the rights were snapped up by MS/Asobo to use the plane in 2024 before WASM was settled, and Aerosoft being Aerosoft, they just stopped production on the 2020 version because customers are not their main priority.
