Aerosol density seems to be missing from live weather?

Hey guys,

I just noticed this today, don’t know about previous patches so no this is not a omg it was working before post haha.

I just realized the Aerosol Density in the asobo live weather doesn’t change at all no matter where i am.
is there a a reason for this?

Unfortunately, there was never been aerosol density or humidity depiction in live weather. :worried:
This is a big “feeling killer”, i think.

Unfortunately been this way from day 1. Unlimited visibility at all times unless in cloud or rain, using live weather.

yeah cuz i tried aersol density with unreal weather and it looked so nice.
I switched back to asobo live weather and was like hmm something is different and totally off.

and i realized everything is so nicely done except the aersol density being non existent.

based on MeteoBlue additional information, they should be able to add aerosol and others into the realweather engine… I mean, for me it’s a first priority that the Real Weather is correct in itselfs, than it is correct with IRL, as this also is only correctly known at METAR stations. So I can live with opaque sky in Sim, but clear sky when I see outside my window, better than an opaque sky in Sim but without correct corresponding aerosol, temperature, etc. in its weather system

This is a big regression from legacy flight sim weather implementations. Needs to be high on Asobo’s list of things to catch up on.

This is a known issue and I for one have been quite vocal about this issue since day one. This cavok visibility needs to go. I fly mostly in South East Asia region (singapore, hongkong, malaysia) where moisture is very high most of the time and the visibility is a bit low because of haziness caused by all the moisture suspended in air.

Right now flying in those regions is a huge immersion killer. There is absolutely no depth in atmosphere. It looks and feels very empty. There HAS to be some level of moisture at any given time in the air that causes haze. Be it france or malaysia. The sim basically puts the value of aerosol density to zero during live weather triggering cavok conditions.
