Has there been any consideration or news on bridging MSFS with Aerowinx PSX?
As a sim builder with multiple displays for scenery generation and PSX running the flight model, this would require:
-
Software communication bridge between PSX and MSFS (being worked on by the PSX community I understand)
-
Multiple instances of MSFS for each scenery generator display running off a separate PC (as MSFS does not offer multi-display functionality) linked over network
-
Ability to set views with precise defined degrees of horizontal offset (eg 45 degrees) & precise field of view (zoom) settings to create an integrated seamless surround view, and ability to have different settings for each PC (eg graphic settings)
-
Under the current model potentially a separate license for each MSFS instance as I believe only one instance of MSFS can run per Microsoft account (ideally no charge for additional instances, or alternatively a lower cost “slave” license linked to the main license acting as a master/server to the slave instances) - potentially also multiple instances of paid DLC for each MSFS instance (more cost)
2 to 4 above would also be relevant for all simbuilders who plan to use MSFS as the flight model.
