I’m fortunate my son and daughter-in-law are visiting over the holidays. Both are commercial pilots, one is a Delta captain and offered to help me with landing the Aspbo A320V2, which one flies regularly. They could not believe that a basic function of a simulator, the ability to save and recall a flight in progress, is not available. Their comment is a basic function of a simulator is to train by repetition. Come on. let’s get this done.

It’s been on the 2020 wishlist since the beginning. One of the many features that wasn’t carried over from FSX.

Well, I was able to save a flight in 2020. I never tried in 2024.
Try Flight Recorder. Free from FlightSim.to
You can re-fly as many times from certain spot of flight.
They’ve been asked to do it since 2020 but no luck.
I’m starting to think they just don’t know how.

Flight Recorder is not available in Series X, right? So there is no solution for many players.
It is, but I have not tried it yet. It’s available in the drop-down toolbar.
although i doubt MS/Asobo will bother to add a PROPERLY working save/load feature to 2020 (since there is 2024 already) i’ll add my heartfelt agreement here, being able to save flights - even while in the air - is something i’ve been missing a LOT in 2020. what’s there just hasnt worked right. i am competely lost on why this has never been a serious thought through the years.
