After pushback I'm facing the wrong way

Running MSFS on PC off MS Store in normal mode Build 1.21.13.0
I’ve set up a route to fly round the Peak District in England and set my Cessna 152 Aerobat to start on parking spot 108 and I am taking off from the same end of the runway. I am currently facing away from the runway. I request a pushback, which happens.

What I am concerned about is, I am not facing the correct way to move onto the runway, I have to turn myself round. Why is this, I thought my aircraft would be facing the correct way, i.e. towards the runway.
Is this a fault or is it standard to star by facing away like this.

In the screenshot, I am facing the opposite way to what I should be, as you can see by the blue chevrons. You can also see they ‘pushback’ guy moving away after doing his job. I now have to throttle up and make a turn to be able to enter the runway.

I created a flightplan in Little Navmap and saved it, also importing it to MSFS, then loading it into my flightplan.

My specs are;
Threadripper 3970X 32 Core / ZENITH II EXTREME ALPHA / 256GB RAM / ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2070 Super OC Edition 8GB GDDR6 / 2Tb SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2 / CORSAIR 1200W HX SERIES PSU / Corsair H150i RGB PRO XT Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler / Windows 10 Professional 64 Bit

Hardware;
Honeycomb Alpha / Honeycomb Bravo / Thrustmaster TFRP - T. Flight Rudder Pedals

Does Shift P not automatically start a ghost pushback?

Ah, I see the issue. This is common. I have many cold and dark spots at various airports where pushback end still has me making a 180. All I worry about is having enough clearance against terminals as I have collision detection turned on.

I think this is more of an improvement kind of defect.

Have you ever bought a plane ticket to fly on a commercial flight? In some cases the tug will push the aircraft away from the gate and swing the nose left or right to assist the pilot and shorten the required turn. In many cases, however, the push is done straight back far enough to allow the pilot to turn to the chosen direction. If you have ever flown the smaller regional flights, often the pilot parked facing the gate for ease of passenger movement, but left himself room to turn around when ready to depart. No pushback required.

If you are flying a 172, consider yourself lucky there was someone to push you, period. In most cases the pilot is out there, sitting on the tail doing a pseudo moon walk, trying to get turned around because some clown thought it was a good idea to park across from him and didn’t leave room for a straight out taxi.

No bug here…

I think pushing back GA aircraft looks stupid anyway!!!

The only times I’ve ever been in an aircraft was Military.
First time back in 1969 when we moved back to England, I don’t remember what the aircraft was as I was aroud a year old. Then between 88 - 92 flying to Gibraltar & Germany, first one in a C130 and the next, I cant remember, but it looked like a standard passenger plane but smaller, if you can figure that out!. All taking of from RAF Brize Norton. I don’t remember seeing anything getting an ‘assist’ at either end.

If you’re wondering ‘why just Military’, my Dad was in the Royal Artillery and then I later joined the Territorial Army.
