Did some further testing and managed to complete 12 and 15hr flights with no FPS drop. I noticed that FPS dropped when the mouse cursor didn’t move for long periods of time.
I installed a program called Mouse Mover, which moves the cursor every few seconds. Ridiculous I know, but at least I seemed to have found a way around this very annoying bug. For now, at least…
