Thank you Asobo for fixing the log book. I had reached the size limit and was no longer logging flights or time. However it now takes the log book a long time to decompress and show logs, about as long for me to load the sim. Hopefully that will improve.

It is in this path for Steam: \Steam\userdata\USERID\1250410\remote\kh_logbook
Mine is still nearly 16mb now. I thought (assumed) after the update to SU13 it would be compressed locally but seems not. I’d be interested to know how big your file is on disk.

Mine was purchased at the MS Store. After a lot of searching I saw info on my logbook location
(C:\Users%rbring%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs\ ). Two folders in that location and only one has anything in it and it’s a lot of files totaling 7 mb with one folder @ 6mb.
Confirm. My is stored in the wgs folder too. But I believe they have the hours on the cloud too because there are times I’m asked to make a choice of which to use, in the event the internet went down or something.
My logbook is now a transparent window with no info.
Mine too but if you wait long enough - several minutes - it will appear (well, I hope so). Since SU13 mine took so long to appear I decided it had been deleted, but in fact it just takes ages to appear. I guess the decompression takes a long time. BTW I have almost 700 hrs in the sim so there are a lot of entries - but it’s now unacceptably slow, and this problem has not been fixed.
It takes longer to build the log than starting the sim for me…1935 hours logged not counting the 635 hours lost after an update emptied it and the 800 hours since it stopped updating.
why close a topic is it isn’t fixed as the logbook?
