After update Main Menu screen showing nothing but 'quit to desktop'

After my 6 hour odyssey of downloading the patch I now face this problem when I load up the game:

This is what the main menu looks like for me. Only option is to quit to desktop.
My community folder is empty, dev mode disabled etc. Any fix for this or am I going to have to do a complete reinstall?

Sorted it out. Deleted the fs-base-ui folders in the official content folder and redownloaded them. Works fine now. Guess something went amiss during the update for me. Hope nothing else was botched.

I had the same thing - though it was some fancy new loading screen. Going to delete the fs-base-ui folders now…
…sorted. Thanks

I removed three fs-ui-base… files. Updater (Installation application from Absobo) replacedthe three with two files fs-base-ui-pages and fs-base-ui-vr. FS2020 now appears to start showing the Welcome/Profile/ MarketPlace/Options screens as normal.

Would be nice if we had a “verify all files” application. That would compute the CRC (or similar) of each file as downloaded on your PC then compare with the CRC computed by Absbo. If the CRC is different, the app would call out the files that need to be re-downloaded. If I had not read this post about removing the files, I would have to download the whole program again. A redownload for me takes a couple days.

I was also dreading having to re-download the entire thing again before deciding to poke around the content folder. A verify files function like steam has would be very helpful! Glad this thread has been of some help.

Sorry, could you tell me where to download the files from? I have the same problem and really thinking only solution is to download everything again from zero
