Hey, after yesterdays update (41GB) i only get non usable blue buttons, by pointing on with the cursor, in the Cessna Citation Longitude cockpit and a black MFD screen. What does here go wrong???

I have the exact same problem. The update has made the sim unuseable. HELP!!! pleaseā€¦?

Hey, i found out that if the MFD stays black you probably have the old version of ā€œWorking Title G3000ā€ mod installed. Delete the old one and install the new version which also came out yesterday.
Then the problem with the blue buttons: you need to set your mouse control to ā€œDefaultā€, after that you can push the buttons and turn the knobs. For me it is working now!

If you are using Working Title Garmin Mods (CJ4, G1000, G3000, G3X) - they have all been updated to SU5 compatibility. Please join their Discord Server so you may get the latest updates in real time.

Thanks for your reply, but it didnā€™t work. The only problem I am having is with the ā€˜blue buttonsā€™ and not being able to click on any of them. My mouse is set at default. Surely other people are having the same issue.

Go to Options, General Options. under Accessibility, change Cockpit Interaction System to ā€œLegacyā€, save your work and it should solve the issue.

That worked. Thank you!

Thanks for the quick reply, works fine!

Here is a serious cockpit bug I discovered. After SU5 the sim opens with an arcade style interface whereby switches and controls turn a ghostly shade of blue when selected. This is an arcade like UI and it clearly demonstrates Asobo is concentrating on Xbox users rather than us PC simmers. There were no warnings or instructions provided and we had to stumble into the settings menu to set up mouse switch bindings to get the UI to work. I have bound the left button of my mouse so I can activate rocker switches and flip light switches. In the C172 with steam gauges, I can make button presses but I canā€™t press on any knob. This means that I canā€™t do the ā€œPush C/V Knobā€ to change from com to vnav. When I first load the sim, my cockpit defaults to com being selected. This is a real problem since I canā€™t find a keyboard workaround to toggle between com and vnav. I am stuck in com mode with the radio frequency setup. Also, I canā€™t press on the knob that interacts with the flight planning screen. (FYIā€¦I am aware that if you go to Accessibility in settings you can go back to Legacy mode to get back to the old UI). I am concerned because I believe the new arcade style UI has some advantages and I am tryin to get it to work on a PC based system. Am I missing something? Is there a workaround? Not being able to switch between com and vnav is a real deal breaker.

Idem pour moi!!!

Did you already update your Content Manager,ā€¦youll find it in your profile. That fixed most Cockpit problems for me. It was a nearly 18 GB download.

Oui, aprĆØs une MAJ je vais immĆ©diatement faire celles des contenus

If you have the ā€œWorking Titleā€ G1000 installed, theres an update which you have to install.

Longhorn1tx has it right, thanks.

Hi thank you for the info but to me doesnt work. My problem is with the Cessna 208, the fuel selector doesnt work, i tried with keyboard, click with the the mouse but nothing happen. I changed the option to legacy but no works. Too i noticed in that same aircraft that i cant see the fuel flow in the pfd or mfd, really i dont remember his name. So if anyone knows the solutions, pls post it. Ah, iā€™m with the version Xbox Game Pass for PC. Greetings and sry for my english.

Changing the mode to ā€œLegacyā€ solved the problem of not being able to interact with cockpit controls with the mouse, but it would have been nice if Asobo had incorporated some kind of warning to PC users that they were changing the default behavior of the sim to a mode not fully compatible with Windows PC. Other settings were also changed by this update: 1. Cockpit tooltips were suddenly ā€œonā€, and the Experience Level, which I always keep at at full realistic, got changed to Easy. 2. The behavior of the cockpit view controls is different than what I was used to.

I also see some new aircraft mods: the C-172 and the Cub Crafter now come with skis and floats. And there are FINALLY some water effects when you land a flying boat or floatplane on the water. But the water effects donā€™t look as good as they did in FSX, and the behavior of the C-172 with floats isnā€™t realistic. It takes off from water far too easily, especially with a heavy load. And it will take off from water without any flaps at all, at max gross takeoff weight, which I think is not possible in the real airplane. And the landing gear and water rudders arenā€™t animated properly. The gear should retract into the floats when raised, and the water rudders should flip up and down. They do turn, but they donā€™t deploy/retract when toggled with CTRL-W.

The non-retracting gear are a serious visual problem when flying an approach to a water landing in External Camera view.

I wanted to use the version workingtitle-g1000 version 4.1 but both displays remain black. Is there a secret switch?

Did you already update your content manager in the Profile!?

holy carp. I havenā€™t been able to fly properly for over a month now partly because of this issueā€¦ and it turns out it was a menu switch that was changed by default and noone thought to tell ANYONE? (switching to legacy mode brought it back)

Now. If I could just get the trim wheel to respondā€¦ Could that also be part of a menu default switcharoo that they (asobo) told noone about?

I have done all Windows and all content manager updates. In the community folder was only the workingtitle-g1000 version 4.1. Both monitors are black. After deleting the workingtitle-g1000 both screens show a normal picture. In the marketplace Ad On G1000 NXI the landing behavior with the AP is a disaster GS wid detected and executed LOC is detected (green) but not controlled.
