Less polygons = less to process = less of an impact to performance. It’s not a bug per se, but a feature. I’m sure there are some wishlist topics available to vote on, for the option to change this to more high res models for a bigger performance hit, I suggest searching around for it. For console though, I have a feeling that isn’t a trade the devs will allow. The performance budget is tight enough as it is.
