After takeoff ATC tell’s me a altitude that I should climb and maintain and I do it, after a while when I’m at my assigned altitude the ATC tell’s me that I’m 300ft below or above my assigned altitude when I’m exactly at it… This mainly happens with the CS 777-300er. So does anyone else have this issue or is this a bug? Please fix this.
Make sure your barometer is properly set. That’s happened to me numerous times (being told I was a few hundred feet off) and sure enough, after setting my barometer properly, everything was cool.
How do I fix my barometer? Should I put it to standard or should I leave it as it is when I spawn in?
I’ve set it to SET ALTIMETER on the keyboard commands.
As for when to use it, there are people WAY smarter than me on the boards who know that stuff inside and out and would be much more informative on the subject. But basically, in the USA below 18k is whatever the ATC tells you and above it’s 29.92.
