AI Co-Pilot Flying

I’m new to Flight Simulator…and mainly fly single engine planes. Every once in awhile I’ll fly the Airbus from Hawaii to San Francisco. In the real world when I fly, the commercial aircraft will normally cruise at about 30,000 feet. When I fly the simulator, I’ll go up to 30,000, but if I take a break and let AI take over, the plane will suddenly drop to around 7500 feet??? Is there a setting to control this? or is this the way the AI is set up for this plane??? Thank You in advance for any responses. P.S. Not sure if this was the forum location to post this???

Good luck with the AI co-pilot, because since 1.9.3 update it barely functions properly.

The Co-Pilot is does a poore job of taxing as it makes wider turns then it needs to make, the co-pilot no longer takes off or lands the plan like it did at release, another big issue with the co-pilot it no longer fly’s on course…if a runway is east west and you need to go north or south the co-pilot keeps you at the heading that you took off from and will not change. Hope this feature gets fixed sometime soon.

The co-pilot does everything poorly. Flying from San Francisco to Santa Monica, on final it dropped to 1000 ft, circled LA County three times (including a low-level pass through downtown LA), then ended up like this.

The team responsible for the co-pilot need flaming yakisoba shot up their collective posterior ejection mechanisms.
