AI driven plane 'vaporizes' after landing on taxiway

I just reported this at zendesk:
After landing at Malpensa (Milano, Italy), an AI driven A380 ‘vaporized’ smoothly after taxiing for a while. I saw similar phenomena at various other airports. Is it an attempt for better fps or just a bug?

Perhaps another player who just quit his flight?

I don’t see how vaporization is possible since Particle Effects are not in the game yet. Not until DirectX12 gets added. Are you sure it wasn’t something else?

I think they mean just faded out, which happens for MP traffic that have damage enabled, rather than some fancy lightshow or particles. Or quitting out as @AdrenalTexas581 suggests. The same effect you see when you merge with another plane, and theirs disappears.

That once happened to me. I was standing with my Piper Arrow on a parking space when someone came straight to me, disappeared in front of me and reappeared behind my aircraft. Very strange!

That’s entirely normal, the phasing in out bit that is, and it makes formation flying tricky.

I have seen it several times. A scheduled airliner vanishes. I have seen it happen when they land and I’ve seen it as they are near enough to see on radar or visual.
I recall one that landed in front of me and had not pulled off the runway. ATC tells me to go around and the airliner disappears before I get near it.
Another I watch the radar as it get near my path. I soon can see the plane a few miles off. Poof- gone, never to reappear.

Yes, by writing ‘vaporization’ I meant fading to invisibility
I didn’t know that there are third party A380 models available (so I guessed that was an AI object - it had a very simple look).
As far as I remember I’ve multiplayer switched off. And if there are other players around, shouldn’t there be nameplates next to the planes?

I Think this happens when there is no parkingspace available for the aircrafttype. This also happend in fax.
