I think Microsoft totally removed this feature from their “to-do list”.
They did.
It was on the list for a while, then it vanished
That’s a big bummer, I finally took the jump to FS2024 and this feature was a big thing I enjoyed about FS2020.
Came here looking for a solution, really disappointed this is missing. Wanted to let my little kid try to fly around and not crash immediately in the first 10 seconds and the AI help was life-saving (I kept pressing the “Delegate Control To Copilot” and was really confused why it seemed like it was doing nothing)

We need clarity on this, this is a key issue for the disability community. Please return this to the to do list

Asobo, and Microsoft may have issues with creating, and or replacing, or putting back The “AI Assistant Feature” into This Flight Simulator 2024 “Beautiful”, Simulator 2024…
But! Here is my thoughts on this.
I am not a pilot. I have no desire to be a Pilot. I just love to fly in and around this “Simulator” and Enjoy its beauty.
And the many Aircraft that are included.
As well as the sky’s (Sky’s The Limit).
So Beautiful!!!
Now, I do have some Developer experience in programming various languages in software. And I understand how challenging programming, and developing software can be. With it’s many wonderful, and differing challenges that do come up. But with great rewards of satisfaction of the finishing product once the code is developed, and it works as designed. However, still needing updates from time to time. That can be part of the beauty of the finished product to see it in action within the open field of operations toward the target communities. Understanding that software, and coding is always a work in progress.
But as it is still not all perfect within Flight Simulator 2020 (ATC Assistant). It still affords an awarding and fulfilling flight experience. To at least get you to the Airports (targets) [Lol], the user of the game sets up to travel to (most of the time).
So Asobo and Microsoft, this final “REQUEST” to please (if at all possible) include the “ATC Assistant” either back-into, or ‘include’ in the 2024 version of this MOST!!! WONDERFUL, and EXCITING! Simulator, ever created.
The FOLKS, like myself who are not PILOTS would love to see it [AI Assistant] work better than what is available out on the free download sites. Which does not work very well at all.
