AI traffic - Implementation urgently requested

The AI traffic currently viewed within the simulator is not satisfactory at all and makes the whole experience quite frustrating. For this reason, AI traffic, one of the features which appeared revolutionary (since generally default Ai traffic has always been real garbage) before the official launch, needs an urgent implementation or, at least, a SDK which allows third parties to create the great products which have created in the past years for all the previous simulators.
Default AI traffic, as it now at this very stage, does not work properly and it is even quite awful to see, compared to the great graphics of the environment. The little or even zero amount of flying aircraft (even in areas and in times which FlighAware shows as full of aircraft), no taxing airplanes, awful and limitated models, fictional liveries are all unacceptable elements for a product which has presented itself as a flight simming masterpiece (and indeed it is from some points of view). I really hope that Microsft/Asobo will urgently try to implement AI traffic or at least offer to other develpers a SDK which will let them create some great product.

Yes ai traffic is terrible at moment i have a big list of bugs i gonna post here later , but one of the things that was a big problem in old sim was the ai traffic and atc logic and implementation cause never reach reasonable level compare with other areas due lack of modification in that area

yes, it is appalling to see, after years of using mytraffic x and ultimate traffic…

Use AIG.

Problem solved

Im grateful for AIG but problem is not solved AIG does its work but limited by the sim itself (slow taxiing, not leaving runway after landing, aircraft way too close on approaches which causes go arounds, aircraft stuck on taxiways and spinning around… wrong altitude and speeds not to mention thr awful stock atc… ive not once seen a really working traffic in msfs yet… waiting eagerly for a solution…

What I really hope for is a modern version of the offline AI we used to have back in FSX. Instead of depending on live data for traffic that in relation to my time of flight might not be live. Besides, this sim is a giant sandbox to create all sorts of things. Why limit to what flight radar or flight aware shows. Back in FSX, the possibility of creating flight plans and assigning aircraft to each flight plan gave us the possibility to add long defunct airlines. Or smaller companies that will never get the attention of developers. Even GA or fictitious airlines as you please. Also, the fact that one would assign an aircraft directly as opposed to the new model matching algorithm was way simpler.
Obviously, one had to learn to understand the system. But if you didn’t want to take the time to do it. Groups like AIG, World of AI, Ultimate AI, and others already existed back then with easy to install packages. And it was all for free.

It wasn’t perfect, but it was very versatile and fairly simple to use. I feel Asobo is trying to overcomplicate things. Ofcourse the technology they have developed is amazing, but it limits the possibilities. I also find it odd that they never mention any offline AI, or AI traffic at all lately. Would like to hear from them on what their future intentions are.

It is very interesting but also sad that we had a very good offline AI traffic in FS2004. Everything was working fine. Plane movements, schedules, parking locations (with AFCAD), etc. MSFS 2020 was a downgrade but slowly improved, it never got to FS2004 level. MSFS 2024 is an absolute disaster right now when it comes to AI traffic. Not sure how Asobo/MSFT let this go on for so long and haven’t been able to get it to at least the FS2004 level. I mean FS2004 is more than 20 years old. And there are many people who can help them, Kai with AIG being one of them.

Hope they get it resolved…
