AIG AI Manager and Traffic Controller for MSFS

not sure, not my thing but likely they are the old/unconverted models.

Hello, I have the same issue. Airports full of planes but empty skies… no traffic in route

Did you find a solution?? @SiderealPizza0 @Dr0plexx

Not realy. I got up to 100% (frame killer) and I see a lot of planes at the airports and some arround it. I am now flying from Prague to London. Prague was silence, I was the only one who wanted to start, only planes on the ground. Frankfurt got more traffic on the air but I never see a plane in the tcas of the fbw for example. Maybe I am to high. The map shows traffic and I got less performance when I got to regions with bigger airports. In London I expect a ctd due to the ini airport with aig traffic.

Same for me, rarely a plane in the sky.
Sometimes i just enable MSFS Real Traffic (remember to remove the .aigoff from trafficAircraft.bgl), because it also use the downloaded AIG liveries.

Okayy! I will remove this post

thanks mate.

For those interested in getting more real-world traffic using actual terminals, a guy just published a mod that fixes gate assignments at a number of major airports:

I quickly checked it out at KLAX and KJFK and generally its pretty good (and accurate). Of course, there are issues with some jetways and spots for larger jets causing overlaps/jets with their noses in the terminal building, etc. but certainy a step in the right direction for those looking for accuracy. I did my test with AIG Offline.

Here is the Jetblue terminal at JFK

Here is the AA wing (note BA in the background on the right which is correct)

Is it just me or are all airlines going in the wrong direction since SU9?

not just you… Workaround is WIP for AIGTC based AI

How do I update flight plans showing outdated in the installer? @Kaiii3

Press the Online tab and look there, press the “Updated” tab and see if there are plans to update.

Or even watch a video showing how to install & update

Hi, I am having an issue with the AIG manager. For some airlines when I click download, it gets stuck on the unzip folder page. I have restarted the manager and it still does not work. In the past, I had to reinstall the entire AI manager but now there are many airlines downloaded and I am afraid that it will all get deleted if I reinstall.

On the errors page of the manager, for me, there are quite a few airlines with the liveries which I guess are not downloaded? Is that normal? How do I fix it if it is not?

Support over at our Forum;)

OKay thanks

I have a question about this. Is it possible for me to just install the airline models and repaints without the flight plans?

What I mean is I don’t really mind to use the default MSFS AI traffic engine, but I just want the generic low-poly models to be replaced by the AIG models and repaints?

So I still have to go through the same process through OCI? Or is there other things that I need to do?

I think you just have to go through the process of installing regardless. The issue is, the default MS setup doesn’t recognize the different models, it just randomly spawns planes (so if this is what you want, it will work). Otherwise you need to use Real-Time (which will attempt to match models/liveries with actual flights) or offline/off for AI traffic and use AIGTC to inject traffic that follows the flight plans.

I don’t really mind/care on the randomness since I turn off Traffic name plates anyway. It’s not like I know it’s “correct” or not. As long as I can see some “better” model than the default plain with pointy nose one, I’m happy enough. I don’t actively check flight data and scrutinise whether the model is correct or not. I would be busy flying my own aircraft, so as long there’s traffic moving about with liveries that matches the traffic callsign and flight numbers. I don’t mind if the models themselves are random.

12 hours in… still around 30% installed. And yes, I select all of them to download. Lol… The OCI creates the SimObjects for the MSFS traffic engine to pull, right? I won’t be looking at the default pointy nose traffic model after I installed it, right?
