I think there is a difference between user to user support and developer to user support. Moderator Casual click posted above to continue the conversation but then he threatened to close this topic which confused me and is still bugging me. But his comment may have been directed towards Kali. I would like clarification as this is a very “hot” topic and I do enjoy AIG even though I am not currently using the TM. I too would like this topic to stay open for discussion.

It does a browser check for me the first time I load the main page, maybe try a different brower.

my ai sound is full. the resto of sounds are veeery low. but i cant hear the ai sound from cockpit:)
Same for everyone I think since recent sim update.
When I play sound through the built in audio on my laptop it is like that, but when I play sound through my connected Hi Fi system I have much better quality and more control.

Does anybody know why some airlines don’t get installed? I am posting two screenshot of Zagros Airline, everything seems to be fine except it won’t install! It gets stuck. Let me know if I am doing something wrong. Thank you for your help.
Does anybody know why this occurs on certain airlines? When I click “ok” to download the file manually the website appears to not be available and I can’t download the aircraft.
I recall something about that website no longer allows you to do automated downloads. You might have to look for the file manually and download it as a zip file and try installing it again pointing to that file
No. You didn’t do anything wrong sometimes the download gets stuck. I have a convuluted way to get around that problem. But I will have to post that another time.
First thing to do is try to download it again after closing and reeopening AIM.
Thanks. I have restarted the AIM many times and every time I get the same problem on some particular airlines i.e. Mahan, Aseman, Zagros, Taban, Meraj, …
Some other airlines work fine. If you know of a way to work this out, I would appreciate it. I will try reinstalling the AIM and see what happens but I doubt that will fix the issue.
The link to the file is probably wrong. Go to flightsim.com, login into your account and search for the file name, download it manually and then point AIM to it
Same for me, for months. It actually download the zip file, seems to install it without error. But it actually don’t, and redo the process each time I make a verify setup. Very enoying.
Same here, I keep this .zip file in my downloads folder due to this, then it is still annyoing but resolved quickly.
So here is the work around. It may require multiple restarts of AIM.
When you have a stuck download, DO NOT close AIM, go to the folder where you have AIM installed. Look for this file: Log_AIManager.txt. There may be date stamped versions of this file but use the one without a date stamp as it is the most current one.
Typically the hung download will be the last line in that file. It will show you the url path to the file. Open up a browser and paste that link and download the file manually to a folder on your PC. Typically the hung file tends to be a big file so it may take a while to download (as an aside I believe what is happening is that AIM is timing out because the download is taking too long and AIM just hangs).
Once you have the file download exit AIM. Then reopen AIM (ugh). Before reattempting the install of the airline in question copy the downloaded zip file (DO NOT UNZIP) to this folder: C:\ProgramData\AIGTech\AIGAIM\temp_repaints.
Then try installing that airline again via AIM. It should install that livery/model right away because it is already downloaded.
Note, if you have multiple hung downloads for an airline you will have to repeat this process each time for each.
Let me know if this helps. I haven’t had much issues since using this process. Some airlines are notorious for still failing the validation process even after doing this so I don’t use them.
