Yes I’ve taken these steps. I unzipped the folders on my desktop. So what would be the directories for AIGFP? The AIG beta is in the community folder so I got that corrected directed but the other directories for the flight plan?
Are they folders or something else? This is where I’m stuck because the folders display empty as i try to direct paths
I tried moving time forward to night at EGCC and was delighted to see bright taxi lights and passenger cabin lights in airliners. No idea why you’re not seeing them.
If like me, you have random planes at gate, don’t forget the following step on AIG traffic controller.
Ok thanks. No idea then. I started the sim at Heathrow at night but none of the moving aircraft had any passenger cabin lights, just running lights and taxiway.
i clicked the “slow” mode because I have lots of scenery/add-ons as recommended(it mentioned something about memory useage) - can I change back to the normal mode? (note finding the AI manager is taking ages to load) - seems to be sitting at load OCI data for a long time - wondering if its related to this setting?
@Kaiii3 what do we have to do to get Vatsim traffic working? Only Vatsim traffic
How FANTASTIC! It´s working perfectly … So, straight to the point: donations where??
I have exactly the same problem, I have tried three times by checking the box, and all three times I get manual installations
I figured it out; you download that one file it asks then point to that file and that’s it, then the Skip Manual Download tick box works as expected. Lack of information regarding this though, will catch a few out!
Another dumb question, ATC doesn’t respond to any other aircraft and there are none on the VFr map, even if I toggle AI traffic on
Is this correct?
Actually forget that , just had a Ryanair talk to ATC which I didn’t download and have AI traffic on , still not sure if this is going to cause problems
Also I have livery Mega pack installed if I turn everything off I will lose a lot of traffic unless I spend all night downloading AI traffic
just checking this is just a short cut to start traffic controller (which presumes needs to be running when you start the sim?)
is this a standard install step or only if you get the random gate issue?
seems to be a standard install step since it is in the instruction manual.
I skip it first and didn’t work as expected.
Make sure the AI Traffic is OFF in MSFS settings, including the ground AI Traffic. All is OFF.
The AI traffic is injected using AIG Traffic Controller application.
I had real time traffic ON + AIGTC and it was working well
Lots of traffic
it has been stated by AIG that it works with live traffic.
So I guess I had done everything correctly this entire time. the only thing it wasn’t injecting traffic at the time because I started the traffic controller before the flight was launched. I launched the traffic controller after starting the flight this time and saw 3 planes taxiing from the gate heading for the runway.
Small tip that may help others, especially if you are downloading all or a large portion of the flightplans. In Windows 10, turn off Windows Defender.
I noticed that it was using a large amount of memory as it was scanning every single file downloaded and unpacked. Soon as I disabled this the process has sped up greatly.
yes i turned it back on and working well
by live traffic what setting are we talking about? - is it the “aircraft traffic type” in the sim menu and presume its the same as “real time traffic on”?
also for it to work now know you need to start traffic controller when your on the runway? (does traffic controller require a complete restart every time you start a new flight ?)
