Thanks but I’ve been using it like that since I installed the AIG and have been getting this shutting down issue
It does not always occur, that’s fine though, I just rerun the app
I just wondered if there was a workaround.
Thanks for your suggestion one more time, I appreciate it !
This is exactly what I’m seeing too: The only aircraft injected by AIG that show up on TCAS are the ones sitting idle at the actual airports.
Unfortunately none of the en-route injected airborne traffic is showing on my TCAS display (both on the FBW A320NX and also with the standard A320neo).
Likewise, the VFR map (accessed via screen pulldown menu bar) only shows a bunch of aircraft parked at a departure or arrival airport, but none of the en-route injected AIG traffic are represented on the VFR map.
I notice big performance hits, like heavy stuterts when Trafic controler it is open, i am flying at FL390 with a A320NX, in this scenary i wouldnt have any stutters i tried to close and now it ok, no stutters

Can anyone make a screenshot of the AIG aircraft lights at night please?
I’ve started just turning on traffic on the ground when you actually can see it. MSFS awful ATC makes having planes around in flight useless in most cases anyways
I stopped using AIG as i get a lot of stuttering when using it.
Anyone else getting lights that turn off only when the plane is on the ground? It makes avoiding planes on the taxiways very very difficult. I don’t think it’s a sim issue, because IVAO models always have their lights on.

I’ve been working on this issue for two days now, but I cannot fix it. It’s definitely not a sim problem. The nav lights work as soon as the aircraft has left the ground.
Loading times of the Sim/Manager/Controller are too high (even with a SSD)!
How many airlines are maximum to reduce loading?

good day everyone.
as fantastic as it is to finally have AI traffic, its as confusing. on some airports ai manager does not inject any traffic, on ground or enroute. for example edlw or edlp in germany, there is absolute no traffic, while eddf, eddl, eddk are full of ai traffic departing and arriving. is this because the flightplans I have installed do not cover the specific airports or did I do something wrong? I remember one forum member wo removed the “default traffic-something” from the flightplans page in ai manager. he was told that it disabled the default.traffic.bgl file and another member was so kind to send him the file. I removed that too, thinking it would not be necessary. did I make a mistake?however on the flightplans page there does not appear anything again. I also did a full reinstall of aig manager but the flightplan page is empty before downlaoding any flightplans. my default.traffic.bgl is disabled (default.traffic.bgl.aigoff)
so am I doing something wrong or do I just have to wait for more flightplans/airlines?
AIG has done some great work, thank you for all you are doing!
However, until or unless Asobo gets their ■■■■ together and fixes things on their end I am forced to leave it on the shelf and ‘Fly the lonely skies’. I absolutely cannot stand the constant go-arounds and taxiway ballets with current AI and Live Traffic.
Going on a year and a half since I paid for what Asobo promised at released I don’t even have the basics of what I thought I was paying for. The bigger issue I have have is that there is never any substantial update on AI progress. I am starting to think they are realizing they cannot fix it. Or at least they cannot fix without a major re-write of the code and associated cost and complexity.
As always this is pure speculation on my end and I freely admit it, but with a lack of info this is what you get.
Again, good work AIG the models look great and really help when flying on VATSIM. I know your doing the best with what we have been handed.

No Traffic on Cruize Altitude?
Hi kaiii3 and the AIG team, I wanted to say a big thank you to you all for this great addition to the Sim.
It took some doing to install everything but it works great apart from the obvious flaws within the Sim AI’s workings.
I’m having a slight issue which you may be able to help with. The AI manager is at the moment very hit and miss on whether it will start up properly or not, I’ve had 2 BSOD while trying to start it up, though I think it may be to do with the latest update to Windows 11.
The app hangs with a not responding dialogue in task manager on occasions. Are you aware of this issue?
Also I can’t seem to be able to move the AIG folder from the MSFS folder to somewhere else like it’s been advised to do. I get a “cannot move this folder” message and if I try to do it from within the AIG app nothing happens except the app crashes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi everyone
I just want to ask if a solution was found for the AIG traffic that taxi till the runway and do not take off.
This disappoints me as everything else looks very nice. Could you please help?
I think this has been mentioned many times here before. It’s the broken airports and not AIG

Are you running Live AI and talking about planes not departing their gates at all? If so, that’s a MSFS problem and exist with or without AIG (though AIG did recently release a work around for it).
Or are you talking about planes leaving the gate, taxiing to the runway and then not taking off (likely in non-live ai)? If so, at which airports. This may be an issue with the airport you’re flying at. I know using AIG-TC with offline planes at KATL has this issue. KATL was broken with the version introduced in a World Update and offline planes will not takeoff once they reach the runway, instead just stacking up until they timeout and disappear. This also happens without AIG in offline AI.

Does the oci_beta folder has to be installed in community folder? If it’s outside i guess the loading time can be reduced…?
Either directly in the Community folder or outside the folder but with a symbolic link placed in the Community folder referencing the actual location. I don’t think it makes much difference to loading times either way.
For example If you use the Addons Linker app it puts a symbolic link in the Community folder.
Thanks for your response… it is the case number two actually and unfortunately in most airports i flew at. For example today in LTFM , HECA ( MSFS-default) and in OMDB
Same here, but not only with closing Traffic Controller, I also need to remove the oci link from comunity folder.
Maybe its necesary change traffic density to avoid this kind of problem.
