I have to say though, the cpu performance takes a hit because of AIG.
In Miami it was a slide show during my last departure
sounds like a you problem…that isn’t really a problem. While not perfect, I’m seeing traffic at high flight levels.
This is only AIG traffic (AI traffic set to off).
That AA was too far to see (you can just see the nav lights high in the picture), but AITC shows what I saw in-game.

Yes indeed, in big airports if I am having 40 FPS before injecting the traffic I can go down to 20 FPS after it

my ai planes dont fly higher than 18000ft … something is wrong…
Try to decrease the amout of ai traffic injected to the sim. I have it at 35% and it works good in big airports… of corse I dont see a loooooot of planes but at least I keepp my performance/fps at a good and enjoyable level.

When i want to use FS2020 real traffic … i ONLY need the “AI manager” right ?
What is the purpose of the popup window asking about disabling default traffic ??… and where is that file located kn case i want to revert ?
Anyone else got no light lighting on aircraft? Whilst taxiing.

maybe you need to do a verify settings/textures from within AIM?

Please explain to me what your secret is, because since I use AIG traffic, I have never seen any plane with the lights on while it is on the ground.
