Hello AIG Traffic Controller users,
i am new to this mod and wanted to know if the traffic controller windows needs to be open all the time during the flight? because i am having the issue that the windows disappears or closes it self after a while…

I think it’s a known bug and one (or perhaps the only one) workaround that has been suggested by many is to decrease the injected traffic setting from 100% to 99%.
I believe that Traffic Controller needs to be open all the time, otherwise any AIG-generated traffic will disappear. At least that’s what happens to me.

i have it to 75% and it still closes very often
was told to try ‘‘compatibility mode windows 8’’ but havent got the time to try yet
I posted a question regarding this on their forum and it got immediately deleted by the mods. Seems like its a known issue and they blame MS. Haven’t tried the Win8 thing yet - may give that one a go.

Make sure you are running AIG Traffic in Administrator mode.
Same thing happening to me in Windows 11. I set it to 95% traffic, Windows 8 compatibility, and running as administrator. Still closing.
@FelipeTurbay this is still happening to me unfortunately, have you figured out a fix or is it still closing for you too?

Crashing for me as well. 
I have never been able to keep AIGTC open consistently, even after ensuring all my settings are correct on install, making sure it runs as administrator, and trying compatibility mode. It seems to have gotten worse in recent days/weeks as well, to the point where I don’t bother trying to use it. I’m interested to see if anyone else has thoughts or solutions…
At least I get to see some cool liveries at my airports (albeit not terribly accurate…imagine Turkish Airlines at Myrtle Beach) if I turn up the sim’s traffic density…
is still happening, it works sometimes during a complete flight but in other i have to reopened the file…
issue is related to SimConnect inside MSFS. Asobo is informed but so far not fix for it
Hardly surprising, they take months to fix the simplest things.
I too suffer from this issue. Doesn’t matter what I set traffic it. AIG TC may or may not last an entire flight.
On the plus side, sim live traffic has gotten a lot better, at least in the areas I fly, and planes now take off again. So I can use the AIG models and liveries and not have to bother with AIG TC.
Yeah live traffic has been good for me today too, EDDF was crazy busy.
May I ask how you use AIG traffic in tandem with live traffic?
I just run normal live traffic in the sim. If you have the AIG models and liveries installed, MSFS will match liveries and planes as closely as it can automatically. It’s not perfect, but better than default liveries and models. And you still occasionally will see the generic Asobo models when it absolutely can’t match a plane type.
Oh, I didn’t know that it did that. That’s pretty cool actually. Maybe I’ll try it out today.
