I was perusing my Files Library, to see what was in there, and noticed 130 aircraft “subheadings” that fall under the main heading of “Air Traffic Aircraft”. My initial question is what exactly are “Air Traffic Aircraft”? Are they the default AI air traffic planes that come with the FS 2024, fresh out of the box? If so, I find it hard to believe there are 130 of them. I have not seen that many variety in planes, in the airports I’ve visited thus far.
I was thinking at first they were my “Just Flight Air Traffic Fleet”, given the large number. But I double checked, and those only work in FS2020, not FS2024. So I’m thinking they have to be the default ones, I just didn’t think there were 130 of them; that’s all.
My next question pertains to the “fs-base-aircraft-common” folder. When I’m in the “Air Traffic Aircraft” part of the library, and open it up to the individual 130 planes (as mentioned above), There is a button to press to get “More info”. When I press it, the following pop up appears:
From the above graphic, it would seem they are trying to tell me that my “FS-BASE-AIRCRAFT-COMMON” file is missing, or why else would they have mentioned it?
Yet in the screenshot of my Windows Explorer below, you can see the path to… and the existence of the “FS-BASE-AIRCRAFT…” file:
My point being, it seems strange that the pre-requisite item pop up warning, would even appear, if the item is indeed nested in the proper place of my FS2024 folders. Can anyone please explain this? And the reason I ask all this is, I want to make sure all 130 of those planes are able to appear, if need be.
