Hey everyone… This question might be stupid but what’s the best for landing, Airbus or Boeing?
Been flying Boeing and it’s frustrating when it comes to landing. I’m not sure if both are the same in this game

Hmm. Which planes specifically?
I find the FBW A320 somewhat easy I guess. It’s pretty responsive and nimble for an airliner.
The Asobo B747-8i is tough for me. It’s such a “tall” plane I have a hard time judging the landing and always hit hard. It’s also got a lot of inertia and is unforgiving if you get too far off path.
These both have full auto land capability if you just don’t want to try it at all and let the autopilot handle it ![]()
Boeing 747 or the A310/A320.. I just tried A320, man I just had a terrible landing ![]()
but it’s better for the whole landing phase.. or maybe in general, I agree it’s more responsive. But one thing I noticed, the A320 yoke is not stable, constantly turning (I have yoke assistance on)… It should help but it doesn’t.
Question, I hope not out of topic… right after I land, I don’t have an option in ATC for Taxing to the Parking or Refueling, I mean when I click it I get so many channels and I tried them all, just doesn’t go to Taxing to gate/parking or refueling
I’d say the a320 is easier to land than the 737, simply because you don’t have to control the thrust or trim on the a320. In the sim an awful lot depends on the flight dynamics of the aircraft. The Fenix and FBW have excellent dynamics, I find the Pmdg awkward and a bit sensitive but I can still land all 3 smoothly. A lot does depend on the winds.
One thing not mentioned yet that should be taken into consideration is the peripherals you are using to fly, and have you setup their sensitivity, reactivity, etc… correctly?
If you google the yolk / stick you have for the type of aircraft flying, you’ll find some documentation / videos on recommended sensitivity settings.
This can help quite a bit.
That was helpful, thank you all ! The A320 was indeed easier
Practice makes perfect I guess, I fly mostly Boeings, PmDG 737-800 and 600 to be specific. I can butter these easily now.
Notice that the 747 main gear touches down two at the time, not all together, I know sitting so high makes it hard to judge but making smooth landings is pretty easy after some practice runs. You could start with a few auto landings to see when the plane starts to flare.
Take a close look, two wheels are still facing up while coming down.
Hope this all helps.
