Most likely one of the updates broke something … the SUs usually fix stuff but also introduce minor issues that go two steps forwards, one back, one sideways and then two back while we dance one forwards … eventually returning to 0 lol.
I think they different installs get affected by them diferently, for example there are 3 possible versions of the sim (basic, mid range and deluxe versions) and can be on Steam or Windows 10 or 8, via Intel or AMD CPUs and chipsets and via Nvidia or AMD graphics. It’s a lot of combinations, plus there are standard installs like yourself, and those of us who put it on different drives … it all adds up to many combinations of possible problems lol !
