Even the artifacts I don’t understand why it takes so long… maybe they would explain why these delays… I would rather hear “there are a serious problem that we are facing” than not knowing anything, not even if they are fixing it or not…

Agree… Navigation lights are extremely hard to see during the day. This should be addressed as a high-priority fix.

I wish I could understand why Asobo does not think this is important.
No reputable airport in the world would let you take off if your lights were not visible. Is it really that difficult to fix?

I agree it’s definitely noticeable and impacts realism… I’m hopeful Asobo is already aware and it’s just something they haven’t gotten around to yet. Given how much is on their plate with MSFS2024, this might be lower priority than we’d like. Still, it’s a bit puzzling why they wouldn’t address something this fundamental.

Pretty much only fly the 172 in msfs24 currently, it’s one of favourites to fly.
The nav lights and strobe lights during daytime not working is a big realism killer, I get they have a lot on their plate, but I’m still disappointed after every beta su update and it’s still not fixed. It seems like a quick and easy back end fix they can push, it’s streamed after all.
In day flight the only light I can just about see is the beacon.

Anyone installed the Zinnertek Aircraft Lights Realistic? Not really any better so far. This was my biggest hope so far, unfortunately…

I really hope MS/Asobo would fix this in SU2. It seems like a silly bug that should have been caught before MSFS 2024 was released. It’s almost five months and the exterior lights are not at all visible. Very sadly, I’m afraid MS/Asobo doesn’t make this a priority. Who wants to guess this will only be fixed in 2026??

Yep, this must be one of the easier bugs to squash with one of the bigger impacts on immersion. Mind-boggling they haven’t done it yet…

Well i emailed zinertek about thier enhanced aircraft light add on and the 737 max it appears the aircraft itself is missing the lighting effects folder completely 
here we are…in simupdate 3 they should solve it…

I don’t understand this either… but I hope they even improve the lights at this point… for example at night when the planes actually land you can see lights in the distance (very obvious ones that sometimes shine)… so in addition to all the lighting that is missing I would like improvements in quality compared to 2020… given that it is said “netx gen”…
