Don’t know if this is the right place for this:
Had to do a complete reinstall of FS2020 yesterday, but when I did I noticed that the odometer in my aircraft that have one (Arrow III, C172, etc) has been reset to zero. I had over 100+ hours on the arrow. Is there anyway I can change the odometer in AC?
Thanks for the help.
Cheers.
…8bbwe\LocalCache\SimObjects\ (aircraft folder)
In there, you’ll find a state.cfg containing accumulated and Hobbs hours. I can’t remember which one governs the hours displayed in the aircraft though.
Sorry, looked through my community folder and could not find that file, is it in a different location?
Yes. You need to go up one level from the “Packages” folder (where the Official and Community subfolders are). You’ll find another SimObjects folder there. In that will be a folder for every aircraft you’ve ever loaded up in the sim, including anything you downloaded and later deleted. Each of those contains just one file, which is the state.cfg that you’re looking for.

Full paths are as follows:
“C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SimObjects\JF_PA28_Arrow\state.CFG”
“C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SimObjects\Asobo_C172sp_classic\state.CFG”
Because my sim is installed on another drive, these are links to the real location:
“D:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-3738441901-1295518950-3516428421-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SimObjects\Asobo_C172sp_classic\state.CFG”
This worked. Thanks so much for the help.
