Tested the 930 and 172 in the sim and both will definitely destruct (by message) when you exceed the the Vne very much. The Vne is not generally a “brick wall” that is the exact point where the plane falls apart, since plane makers tend to built in a small safety margin over that speed.
But it’s easy to demo this failure in the Daher. Take it up to about 25k, nose over hard, and watch the barber pole show up shortly, then the warning sound for exceeding the speed, then “crump”! Same with the 172. Put it at about 12k, push over hard, and watch the airspeed climb and it will destruct not long after Vne.
