I previously downloaded Lelystad Airport from FrankG on www.flightsim.to for fs2020 on PC. I was very happy with it, but there haven’t been any updates in a long time, so a few things were broken or never worked properly. These included the papi lights and the ATC calling “tower” instead of Lelystad Tower. The developer no longer responds to support requests.
I fly airliners like Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 and more.
Last week, I bought the Lelystad Airport from Aerosoft in the Marketplace in FS2020.
I’d like to share my experiences:

The buildings look great and detailed but then… there are some disappointments:
I had hoped that during the approach, ATC communications would refer to the tower in its entirety, not just “tower,” but as it is in reality: Lelystad Tower. Just like Schiphol Tower, etc.
After contacting ground, only two questions are possible:

Taxi for Takeoff Options.

After another landing on runway 23, I received the following options:

Tune Ground to 135.180

After tuning Ground: -
Request Taxi to North Parking

After requesting North Parking, ATC sent an airliner not via the right taxiway specifically designed for airliners, but via the left taxiway for small aircraft (via taxiway S4 S S1 cross runway 23 N2 N A2) and thus crossing runway 23 to North Parking. However, no gate number was indicated. Incidentally, I had already passed taxiway S4, and taxiway S5 would have been more logical.
Arrival handling is poor.
ATC doesn’t indicate an arrival gate.
When planning a flight in the Worldmap, you can choose gates L5, L6, L7, or L8. The Worldmap refers to gates N, Ramp 35, and Parking, respectively. However, after landing, ATC will not direct you there.
No marshal at the gates. it looks very empty there.
Only one worker is busy on his phone.
Pushbacktug is only on the grass like he’s mowing the grass.

Choice menu: When you request a pushback, the answer is: “No, pushbacktug is available to answer your request.”
No option in the menu to request an aircraft stairway or baggage service.
Lots of cars on the taxiway.
Sometimes at the gate, the only menu option is for taxi to takeoff options, taxi to parking options, and ground services.
Ground services only provides:

Request pushback.

Request fuel supply.
-
Request power supply.
-
(Go back to clearance.)
And there is no possibility to request for baggage service or ramp.
Ground power unit drives straight through the aircraft.
Fuel truck drives straight through the aircraft.All of these things worked much better in the previously mentioned download and I’m thinking of uninstalling the purchased version and using the free downloaded version again.
