Hi there.
Yesterday I created a flight plan from CPT FACT (Cape Town Intl) to LHR EGLL (London Heathrow) in a British Airways Boeing 777-200 (BA58).
On final approach into EGLL I requested clearance to land on 27R but ATC told me that HEATHROW is currently IFR access denied. So I rerouted and was seeking permission to land a EGKK LGW(London Gatwick) only to be told that the Airport was also IFR with again being denied access to land.
At this stage I flew up to Birmingham Airport (EGBB BHX) and on final approach seeking clearance to land and you guest it. Airport is currently IFR access denied.
What do I do in this situation? I had to end up landing my bird on a airstrip lol
I checked all current weather in the area and there was no adverse weather conditions for the airports to close like that.
Is this a common problem with MSFS on XBOX as I stream my Flights on Twitch because after a 10hr + flight it was slightly annoying to say the least lol
