Have you disabled/removed all your mods and addons? Yes I have removed all mods
Brief description of the issue: Aircraft slews around to a given heading apon clicking on fly now and will not budge from that heading. All control surfaces respond properly but the plane does not respond.
The Texture error on the pilot was a pilot mod, I have removed all my mods in my community folder and it fixed that. However the planes still do the same thing. The problem is the game worked the night before that and all was well. I changed nothing from that day to the day this started. So why did the planes stop working right?
Not much else that comes to mind that could be the cause.
To fix the problem I would recommend to try to repair the installation, like already was suggested.
Before this issue occured, did you use a glider or did some specific MSFS activity that may have bugged your free play?
E.g. you flew gliders and somehow the plane is hooked to an invisible glider cable, something like that?
Yes I flew a glider before this happened. That was the last thing I did, launched with a tow plane then flew for a half hour and landed. The next morning I tried to do another flight with the Beaver and that bug was there.
I’m having the exact same issue. Flew a glider- Now there’s no control on the ground. You can clearly see the rudder and or tillers moving when moving the rudder, but the aircraft won’t steer
Well I am glad that I am not the only one having the problem, not that I wish that anyone else would have it but it means that its not an isolated event. I wonder how many others are having the same problem, I still can’t fly anything except the Glider. I have not tried the helicopters but I have been so busy with Clan wars in World of Tanks I just have not had the time to fool around with flight sim much.
hello I’m having the same problems I can not simulate any aircraft, and I’m fighting to look for the problem. but since I’m not the only one who has these problems I think someone will have to advise us something
I didn’t see a step to check if it’s a controller issue. As awkward as it is, have you tried disconnecting your hardware controls, load into the cockpit? Does it happen then?
Also go into the Controls menu, and you may need to cycle through each type of control, and clear any glider specific binds.
Its not a controller issue. If you seen the video the control surfaces were moving along with what ever inputs I gave them so its not that issue. I have several controllers hooked up and tried several of them and their profiles and they all gave proper imputs and are configured properly, They are all also calibrated properly. It acts like the plane is stuck in slew mode.
Understood, but it’s a quick test to unplug them, launch the sim and eliminate the possibility that one of them is sending a rogue signal to cause this behavior. That would absolutely remove them as a cause. Just a suggestion.
