Is anyone else having trouble with the autopilots? With Xbox X before SU10 I had no problems with A320, B787, Longitude, King Air, and TBM. Now they won’t lock on a flight path after takeoff and veer wildly off course on final approach. The G1000 NXI aircraft work fine, holding glide paths right to thresholds. Having not seen any complaints in this area, I wonder if the new update could somehow corrupted my installation. Grateful for any ideas on this.
Not sure that this is the case for all planes, but on the garmin 530 C172 I found that the switch above VOR 1 was turned to GPS rather than VLOC. As I had never experienced this before, I assumed it was a change to the aircraft made in SU10. It took me a while to find the cause, but now I know, it’s no longer an issue for me.
There is something weird about the Autopilot in the TBM since SU10. On approach it changes legs too soon before the initial fix for an RNAV approach.
The TBM had been solid until now. During a flight that seems normal, “GPS” turns to “ROL” and we just veer off course. I didn’t know that SU10 would have so much effect on individual aircraft. Even the Beech Baron is affected, not allowing the selection of “NAV” during flight prep. And that’s a G1000.
