All dialogue (ATC, Instructor, etc) is muted

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
No dialogue audio (instructor, ATC, passengers, etc) in career mode and free flight.

Only significant change noted is this is after Windows 11 feature update 24H2.

Have tested between two different audio devices (wired 3.5 and bluetooth headsets), and have game/engine audio in both, no dialogue.

Have tried alternating in the internal options screen away from system defaults to specific headphone output desired. (Both live change and after rebooting application).

Have tried disabling bluetooth telephony on BT headsets.

Have tried alternating Online voice settings to different options (live and reboot) - I believe I heard the dialogue voices for one time via my monitor speakers?? during live, but after reboot disappeared.

Have tried reinstalling drivers to both sound devices.

There is a separate slider for dialog volume (I forget exactly what it’s called) in the sim itself. Have you checked there?

@Stardrifter2232 is right, slider is named “Character Voices”, see screenshot here: No Sound in FS2024

Moved to User Support Hub since more likely a local issue, not a spread bug.

Please, I am not that silly - I checked all audio tabs and they too are at 100 percent.

I would appreciate this being moved back to bug report or a proven solution to my issue being provided.

Edit - I fixed it, thanks for making me check my settings Demetented hahaha - wasn’t character voices, WAS communication device output selection - thought this was for human players only.

No one said that. If no troubleshooting steps come in the 1st post, community cannot know what you’ve checked, hence the recommendations start with checking the basic settings. For some users it is obvious, for others not so obvious.
