All I want for Christmas is [Wish List thread]

-My two front teeth
-Fully functional reliable ATC
-Honeycomb yoke

Not necessarily in that order.

Same “exact” here.

-Brightness control for the PFD/MFD. I cannot read some of the dark-text at all unless my nose touches the display.

Something about a dove in a grapefruit tree too.

I just did my first 2.25 hour trip going into Rio De Janeiro using the latest update.

The ATC totally blew it for me. It wanted me to descend from 5,500 to the runway (11 feet) at only 3 miles out. When I got to 5 miles out I said no way and started my descent anyway.

I’m still having fun so no worries here. I just cant depend upon ATC to be correct, yet…

I have the FP saved so I will consider creating a ZenDesk for this unless someone thinks I shouldn’t.

All I want for Christmas is for Asobo to fix the runway tearing bug. I’m so tired of having perfectly good flights (not to mention perfectly good landings) ruined by giant cracks in the runway. It is a loss of aircraft, loss of flight issue that is widespread and is affecting many users. It needs to be at the top of the fix list.

My Honeycomb Throttle Quadrant and my HP Reverb G2 VR Headset…
Both of which were ordered directly from the manufacturers website within seconds of availability.

Ugh.

Jim-Sim

-HELIMACHOPERS!!!
-Extreme Aerobatic planes ahem Edge 540
-Pylons? Air racing? Courses? Like landing challenges, but for precision flying
-Smoother Framerates (Better optimization)
-More functional buttons in cockpits

I’ll just be happy enough if I, and those I care about, are still alive by Christmas.

I forgot to mention an Antonov 124-100 and an ATR 72-500 from a quality 3rd party producer. And an East Midlands Airport scenery, please Santa

Hello,
I have moved this out of Wishlist and into General Discussion and Feedback, as this topic does not discuss one specific issue.

Here some issues whish list:

  • NO MORE CTD whatever the system, config, windows version we’re using, hardware we have, MSFS settings we’re using, amount of page file we have etc…

  • Functionality corrected and improved on the B747-8i and Baron G58 etc.

  • No more loud fan when using MSFS.

  • Load/Save function working properly, meaning when we load a previously saved flight mid flight with a flight plan that the flight loads correctly ie loads the flight WITH the flight plan also and all flight deck parameters, aircraft altitude and location and speed and time/day of the flight etc are loaded as the same state as when initially saved.

  • Zoom that we set on the external and showcase cameras remembered instead of resetting to default when we next launch the sim, not having to set the desired zoom everytime we relaunch MSFS.

  • V screenshot key BACK! MSFS can map the VFR map key to other key.

  • Menu bar BACK, not having to go back and forth on this overlay sim burden, so we have access to ALL the sim functions/options AS before in FS9 and FSX, in a single efficient menu bar (that we can recall/hide like before with the ALT key short and long press).

  • Sim and flight loading faster.

  • etc etc…

Thanks

I would be a testpilot

My top 3 aircraft

  1. Cessna 162 skycatcher

  2. Piper Cherokee 180 classic with the classic panel and yoke

  3. Dash 8 100

And add tornadoes hurricanes and microbursts into the weather engine because all of the new games look like they’ve been playing with tornadoes and at one point there were storm chasers using a Cessna to chase tornadoes

Classic Cessna And Embraer themed hardware to be in production because I would completely buy an Embraer styled yoke

And a basic overhead that is not over $400 that works for all aircraft with all light up buttons to be made

Honeycomb yoke
Honeycomb throttle quadrant
MD80 study level

… a bit ambitious but I know Santa is a good guy….

I’d love a yoke. Not sure which though, and an electric GA plane for the Simulator :grinning:

A decent AI Traffic + PMDG 777-300!
