Unbelievable… They fix stupid things that are not even detected by 99% of the users and don’t fix such BIG ISSUES!!! Or are they fixing just XBOX issues??? I am fed up with this gaming world, is it possible that there is not a way to have a professional simulator, addressed to people in the aviation world rather than to gamers??? Something like PSX, but with the graphical involvement of FS? It would not be too far away…
Same here, and I also use GSX
What is the Key Press to connect to a jetway ?
No problems here with jetways not connecting in latest beta .10. Everything as it should be. Only using 3rd party airports and gsx. (PC/steam).
Dubai is pretty bad for this. Although I just passed it off as an A380 problem as its not supposed to be supported in msfs2024 yet.
10 min used the beta. i left the beta… its essential to have jetways working to me… i will never understand what Asobo is doing when they release something… its so obvious…
I preferred to leave rather than get upset about it every time.. and in general i fly about 5-7 legs every day, so 5-7 airports with not working jetways would be to much a day
Yea it’s called a beta for a reason. You test you see something is corrupt then you report it. Simple as that
Yeah, i just went back to the main ‘beta’ branch^^; but its the first time of all public betas in MSFS2020 and 2024 i signed in not on day 1 and left it 10 min later…so my conclusions were not that wrong.. its getting a long way…
True, it is a beta. Bugs are to be expected.
But you would expect that bugs are related to the elements of the sim that are mentioned in the release notes.
I did not notice any changes or new features around jetways. So it seems odd that this shows up as a new bug to a feature that was working perfectly fine before.
Want to make sure this keeps visibility - if SU2 is ultimately released with broken jetways the community will lose its mind . So has the team been able to reproduce it and log it as a bug?
This seems to be fixed with a server update now.
Working for me since a few hours.
i have to admin that i enabled gsx jetway replacement, loaded in to test, had terrible fps, disabled them again & cleared caches & scenery index and now its working.
Not sure yet if thats a workaround or if a actual serverside fix done the job. Someone needs to confirm.
Mine are definitely not working still. I did randomly have one work one time in SU2 beta so maybe that’s what you’re experiencing.
Yes could be, but at least the gsx thingy would be worth a try, maybe this could be a workaround, if it helps someone else also
Doesnt work, GSX doesnt make a difference.
There are at least some sceneries where it is actually working for me, too. At first, I thought it might be that it is 2020 sceneries having an issue, while newer sceneries are fine, but that’s not it. More seems like different jet way constructions and some work while others don’t.
Short list of what I found while testing with the Fenix A320.
- Aerosoft EDDF: Working
- Aerosoft ENGM: Working (and that’s even a totally different type of jetway)
- MKStudios LPPT v2: Not working
- ini EGLL 2024 Premium: Not working
- FlyTampa EKCH (which is not even officially supported for 2024 yet): Working
- Orbx ESSA: Working
- Orbx ESGG: Not working
So not quite one developer works and another does not, but maybe Asobo can use this info to drill down to the problem.
I also did notice once interesting thing in ESGG when I looked at their promo shots. The jet way in the scenery seems to be already parked in the wrong position when “idle”. In the sim it already looks almost attached to the plane, while on their shot it is at a much different angle.
Same here. The head of jetway moves but doesn’t connect to airplane. It was working fine yesterday.
I have noticed a trend.
After landing the jetways sometimes work, but at my departure they never do.
It’s in the release notes for 1.4.11.0 - so far jetways are working well on my end.
I noticed this too. It wouldn’t work for me on spawn but sometimes it auto connects properly when you taxi into a gate.
