I was going to have a short flight but it never happened. Here is what I experienced.
First I was not able to start the sim, it was stuck with 0%. I ended it, restarted my PC and gave it another try.
This time I was able to load it quite nicely. But all my settings were gone, the language ( I use English in the sim instead of my own language), graphics, controls, all. It gave an option to start the process with them just like this would have been my first time with the sim. I tried it again with the same result.
I was way too frustrated and angry to do all that.
Anyone had similar issue? Is there a way to find my vanished settings?
Delete your local save and see if it will resynch from the cloud. I’m on Xbox so I’m not sure how or even if you can do that on PC.

I renamed the Flightsimulator2024.cfg, started the sim. It did build a new cfg-file but sadly that made no difference.
Open Xbox and check you are logged in. Select the sim from the programmes, and it should reload with all your settings from the cloud. Maybe then close the sim down and restart to check all is now well.

Thank you for that idea. Sadly it didn´t solve my problem.
Of course I can go thru all the settings and get them back but what if this would happend after that again…

You can get issues like this with a server problem.
Check it again the next day and / or change the server.
Also, in xbox, select FS2024, go to mange files and verify.
Hope you get it fixed as it is a ‘painful experience’.
