I’m not sure if you have the setup to change how the forum works, but it would be nice to have a new column on the far right side of each thread where a user can select the disposition of that thread (Watching, Tracking, Normal, Muted). There are numerous subjects of which I will never need to track, like XBOX, VR, Home Cockpits, etc. If I see one of those threads, it would be convenient to select ‘Muted’ and move on.

You can already do that from the “Bell” icon at the bottom of every topic.

Another way to hide topics that you are not interested in is to mute their tag in your peferences. To do this:
Click your user-icon on the top right of the window & choose preferences:
Click Tracking:
You can mute specific Categories & Tags by clicking the + button and adding the category or tag(s) that you are not interested in viewing:
Then click on the “Save Changes” button at the buttom of the screen.

I was actually requesting a way to do this from the main thread listing without having to enter each thread, like this…
Each row would have a drop down to allow the selection of the desired option.
And as for muting specific tags, I’m already doing that but not everyone adds relevant tags to their threads.
My mistake. I thought you had to go all the way to the bottom of the thread to access that dropdown and never noticed that the bell is on the right side at the top of the thread. That only requires one more click than my suggestion, so I’m cool with that. Thanks.
