Allow skip to descent throughout the whole flight.
Sometimes you want to fly a little longer and still be able skip to descent. Thanks!

Absolutely! We need more options to customize the flight legs. Especially if they disable simrate.
Like “skip to next waypoint”, “skip 50nm” or “skip to descent”.
Its all in the name, the current implementation for Skip To Descent’s behavior does NOT match the described name.
You are skipping us to a very close short final, often causing us to fumble and miss ATC calls ( and then getting penalized ), we get a very, VERY short time to configure AP, lower gear AND respond to ATC all at the same time - this is not what Skip to Descent means. Descent is not On Short Final.
Please rename Skip To Descent to Skip to Final
Give us a longer final in airliners when using Skip to Final which gives are more than 2 minutes before touchdown ( long final ).
Please add an ACTUAL Skip to Descent
TOD at our existing cruise altitude ( 5nm before TOD )I don’t have the time to do a 12h cruise phase for an airline mission in career mode so once I reach cruise, I use the “skip to descent” option.
The problem is that this resumes on the final, with aircraft pretty much on localiser / glideslope and with aircraft largely configured for landing. Sometimes it’s so close to the runway I have to turn around and start the approach again.
I’d much prefer that it resumes in the descent phase so that I have to navigate around the pattern, get my aircraft lined up and configure all the flaps etc myself. Your skipping a lot of the stuff I want to do. There’s not much left by the time the game resumes.
By all means have an option to press Alt+N again to skip to final for those who do want to skip everything, but then it would be optional.
I want to actually fly the aircraft, just not sit on autopilot for 12hours with nothing to do. Skip the cruise, but nothing more.
This would add more to my enjoyment of the game than anything else.
