I’ve thought for a while now that on the MS Marketplace, to truly assess a product before purchase the provision of video in the gallery could be useful.
For aircraft this I would expect would include video to show the detail and resolution of interior/controls/gauges, as well as a slow walk around.
The recent release of for example the Boris Sound Sets show just why this is more requirement than preference, as although I know the soundset is in my opinion high standard, without recourse to external sites the buyer cannot evaluate the product beyond a description.
Yes I know the user can look elsewhere to evaluate, that shouldn’t necessarily be the expectation or requirement. I’m quite sure Devs might miss out on sales simply because their product can’t be easily evaluated from their sale site.
On the other hand it may prevent regretted purchases where the images provided are simply lacking in detail to properly assess
