Loving the new taog huey
Do i go - Cowan r22,r66 or taog Alouette
What is most realistic for flight model, functions etc
I would choose the R22. Very different from the Huey, flies really well and great view.

I don’t have any aircraft from Taog so not in a position to comment on them. I do have both the R22, R66 and a few other helicopters by Cowan, all are good to be fair.
The R22 is the only one I have flown IRL so equally the only basis I have for comparing any helicopter to a sim. I find the R22 is a good representation of how I remembered the real helicopter ‘felt’ and reacted to control inputs etc… Its also has a piston engine so perhaps offers a further step away from the Huey in terms of differences. I like the R22 from Cowan even though I have not yet flown it that much.
The R66 is in my opinion quite easy to fly, but also equally enjoyable to fly. I use it in Neofly quite regularly, and now tend to choose it over the Cowansim B206 - which is also good. You can’t really go too far wrong with Cowansim helicopters. They use the MSFS flight model which means they will suffer from any shortfall the sim has, but they do fly well.

I really really love the Alouette III… the view is perfect, the flight model rather forgiving to fly. Possibly my favourite helo in sim to date (and I have about all the others too as I was on a helo-dating spree these past few months).

On xbox the alouette pulls to the right constantly, its very annoying, but even though it has that problem its still great!
The sound in the cockpit and the view out is fantastic, best feeling chopper in the game.
The R66 is really good too, a bit of the turbine bugg is present and the only thing ruining it.
Have not bought the R22 yet.
I would say they are all must buys!
And buy the alouette first! There seems to be a patch out on pc that fixes the crabbing. Then its a no brainer

It depends on what you are looking for.
Both the R22 & R66 are 2 bladed, teetering rotor systems. They will handle similar to the Huey, albeit, more lively, the smaller the ship.
The Alouette is a fully articulated rotor system, so it’s going to be more stable, and more directly responsive to control inputs. It’s also a Clockwise spinning rotor, so the right pedal is the power pedal. That’s opposite the Huey, R66 & R22.
You really can’t go wrong with any of them. They are all high quality addons with lots of options.
