Does anyone know of any tutorials for the 78X and 748 that specifically deal with the divert to alternative airport and holding pattern functions? The Asobo pdfs don’t cover these options at all and I haven’t found any How-To’s on YouTube. They’re just a couple of functions I’d like to play around with properly for a more realistic experience one day.

Have you tried searching for tutorials about alternative airports and holding patterns for the Avionics you’re using for those planes (I’m not familiar with these specific planes). I’m not sure about this but I would think the same methods apply. Then it’s just a slight adjustment for the specific Avionics you’re using in those planes.

Hey, thanks for that i will give it a look. I’m going to start a real-world long-haul in the morning. But yes, I looked on YouTube and everywhere else and couldnt find a single thing.
I’ve been kind of fudging it by switching to the ALTN airport not long before my top of descent and it works sure but it takes you on a direct path and you have to manually pit in your runway, approach and teansition which may change depending on what ATC instructs you nearer the airport.
The holding pattern function however, I haven’t tried yet as that seems a bit too confusing.
I’ll let you onow how I get on.
