Is there any alternative to instruments pop up for the A320 FBW ? The huge fps hit makes it kind of unplayable specially in big airports.
Is there a way to have the PFD on a separate screen ? There was a WIP for air manager but doesn’t seem to be online ?

I never really pop up my instruments. I just zoom in. Or use the instrument views command from the controls binding.
The majority of Air Manager tools for this only provide the bezels and / or controls for a screen. You still need to pop out the window from the sim to actually get the display.
Working on it in between other projects so it’s going to take some time. I have a partial upper ECAM so far. Other than the ND it’s probably one of the hardest because there is so much dynamic information that it displays.
I don’t envy the work you have ahead of you. I considered trying to replicate the CJ4 MCDU and decided against it. Especially with how dynamic the SDK is atm. What works today may not work next month and require a bunch of recoding.
Yeah I know. That’s why it’s only a bit of time in between other stuff. Wanted to see what data was available to make it feasible. So far all the data needed has been there but a very long way to go.
