Lately i can’t seem to engage always the autopilot, unless if i am not mistaken,i have reached an altitude of 16.000ft both in DC6 and in FBW32X
Is this correct or am i doing something wrong?
Not sure what’s going on, but AFAIK you can engage them at any altitude (though it’s not recommended very close to the ground).
The DC-6 tutorial cruises at 8000 ft with autopilot, and AFAIK it’s not uncommon to engage at 1000 ft or so in the A320 (though it’s also common to manually pilot for a while). There’s certainly no 16000 ft lower limit.
That’s what i thought and definately being doing before.But suddenly i can’t
What happens, and how do you engage it? With the mouse or a shortcut?
I don’t use the A32NX much right now, but I can set up the stock A320 with a runway start (and a destination), enter the flight and simply take off (parking brake, TOGA) and then engage the autopilot just above the ground.
Since i have learned where everything is in the 32X i use the mouse to click the appropriate switch but i also tried the default key which is Z
And i have the dev version which i update everyday as it has updates.I haven’t touched the default one at all.
But same happens to DC6 as i said.
Very strange indeed
Don’t forget that enabling the gyro pilot requires a few prerequisites: The selector mode selector needs to be all the way left, not on localizer, not on approach. The turn knob needs to be centered. Then you need to switch on the small gyro pilot switch and then connect the black gyro pilot lever below the mixture levers by pulling it up. Perhaps you are missing one of those steps.
Apparently for 32X i had to choose NAV on the switch for the radar in pfd
Maybe something similar is for the DC6
Can anybody explain what is the ASYM LVR indication when i have the throttle to CLB but is is showing that instead?
ASYM LVR means Asymmetrical Lever, one throttle lever is more advanced than the other.
Strange…since i use one button to move them all.I will check it out.
Thank you very much for your time
Again !! What is going on with that plane ? Now i started a new flight to Austria-Klagenfurt from Athens-Greece and the AP is AGAIN not engaging
I turn the knob to nav, then arc, press ap and it doesn’t engages.LVR is on CLB
Αnd the default one is not even keeping the path i have.
Is there a curse for the 320?
