My around the world flight plan now has 3,880 airports in it. It takes 5 minutes to load in the world map and I only load it to get a total distance. I append each day’s leg with a text editor, editing the .pln file. You could do the reverse, copy parts out of to fly in chunks. Just make sure you update the departure and destination as well.
