I’ve always used Intel but decided to give AMD a go now with the great reviews I’ve seen on the 9800X3D.
Looking at motherboards and all the different AMD chipsets which is a jungle to me, I’m thinking of going with the MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI which seems to be a great board without spending any crazy money.
One thing though I wanted to ask you experts, are there any limitations using 2 M.2 drives together with a 4090 graphics card I should be aware of with the B650 chipset?
I’m also on a B650 with 4090. 2 SSDs should not be an issue, but check the MB manual to be sure. In some cases if you use two or maybe 3 nvmes, bandwidth could get throttled somewhere.
I do have 2nvmes and it’s fine. Adding a third could be an issue though, not sure. Depends on the model I think.

I asked the guy in the store but he assured me it wouldn’t be any issues.
Planning to build the new rig tomorrow so guess I’ll see and will also check the manual
