For the this ignorant soul could someone explain, in layman’s sort of terms please, what FSR is and how to enable/implement it in the sim?
I am currently using Radeon Super Resolution, enabled through the AMD software. I am not clear what the improvements that offers as I don’t really notice a great deal of difference with or without RSR active. All that is said in the software compatibility notes on the AMD site, about RSR, is that where possible it would be better to use FSR if the game is compatible.
Under General Options, in the sim, I see AMD FidelityFX Sharpening and also FXAA under the Anti Ailiasing banner. I am unclear as to whether either of those is relevant.
I am struggling to find out how to switch to FSR and how to determine which version of FSR might be active, so any pointers will be much appreciated.
GPU RX5700XT - which should be compatible I believe.
