The RTX4080 is a great choice and it is not a lot more expensive over the 7900xtx. Can’t blame you for wanting to stay with Nvidia. The RX7900XTX is faster than the 4080 in MSFS at least in 2D. Not sure about VR but I do not disagree. A messy launch indeed!
