I have a 2400g cpu an amd asus prime a320-a motherboard with 16gb ram. Im considering either a 5600xt or 5700xt and if i need to buy a nvme drive or any other parts anyone any thoughts
If you plan to also use VR, I would recommend you an nvidia card. Period.

Ditto, purchased Gigabyte RX5700XT only to discover the fight i had to perform simply to get the wretched thing to operate. Numerous random Blackscreen crashes to restart occured. So many that i bit the bullet and replaced with new nVidia. Do not recommend unless you are a masochist!!! Tried all fixes and updates which make no difference…I did try…simply had enough of working overtime for what others take for granted.
It is! Does pretty well for me.
It’s performing well for me. Vsync at 30FPS and it is smooth with SU10 with mixed High and Ultra settings, 2K. Have AMD 5600X CPU.
Anyone using it in VR?
The RT5700XT card has worked pretty well for me as a starter card, especially in 2D 1440. I have an R7 3700 CPU.
My Reverb G2 is more demanding on the card . While the performance is exceptable, I am looking forward to upgrading to a new AMD CPU and GPU that are being released shortly.
