Hello all, just wondering if there are any users with an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and Nvidia RTX 4090.
What is your experience so far? Smooth flying?
Any experience also on the performance for other activities such as photography or music composition? (More related to the CPU performance in this case)
I’ve had my 5800x3D and RTX4090 system for a month now.
I don’t know what system you’re using, but the only time I feel even 5800x3D isn’t enough is when I want to enjoy MSFS at the highest quality on Pimax8kx.
the encoding or anything doesn’t feel slow.
That’s why, I am also wondering which one to choose, 7800x3D or 7950x3D, just for MSFS.
Anyone have the materials?
(As for Intel, I think there is a conclusion that it is not good enough. Not only performance, but even if LGA1700 has a grandchild, AM5 will surely be active and a super idol.)
Another angle to consider is that the 7950X3D costs about 50% more than the 7800X3D. It depends how much you want to spend chasing the last few frames and higher application performance right now.
Especially because the AM5 socket is brand new (and will be supported for a few years), so you could always put the 50% you save now towards a CPU upgrade in a year or two. You’ll probably get a lot more performance for your money spent by doing that If you don’t mind waiting
I completely agree.
“How much will it cost to update the configuration after use?”
This is usually the first thing I think of.
My brain has gone crazy since the pimax8kx didn’t work on my 1080TI and I went crazy and bought a 4090.
His price dropped by 20,000 yen in a month.
It’s a perfect Concorde effect. A trap for those who invest in aviation.
Ditching the 5800x3D and migrating to the 7800x3D certainly wouldn’t hurt the cost enough to cause a crash.
The question is, when considering the future, is it okay to choose the A320, oh no, the A620?
Also, we really want to keep FSTL and Little Navi Maps resident, so we wondered if 8 cores would be enough.
As you say, it may be good to whip up 5800x3D a little more.
